Aston Villa 1-2 Newcastle: 'Superb' Magpies delight Pardew
Manager Alan Pardew praises the "new personality" of Newcastle United as they beat Aston Villa 2-1 to secure their first Premier League away win of the season.
New signing Moussa Sissoko set up Papiss Cisse for the opener before Yohan Cabaye doubled the lead during a "superb" first-half performance.
Pardew credits Villa with giving "everything" in an improved second-half display following Christian Benteke's 49th-minute penalty for a trip on substitute Gabriel Agbonlahor.
The win sees Newcastle up to 15th in the Premier League and ends a run of five winless games.
