James Costello gave the Swifts the lead but two goals from Guy Bates, one from the penalty spot, and a Mark Farren strike ensured victory for the home side.

Glenavon's Niall Henderson was sent-off in the first half and Emmett Friars of Dungannon received a straight red card in the second half.
