Liverpool 0-2 West Brom: Steve Clarke glad to end winless run
West Brom boss Steve Clarke says his side's 2-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield was fully deserved and lifts the "negativity" surrounding the Baggies after a run of six games without a win.
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard missed the opportunity to put his side ahead in the 77th minute when he had a penalty saved by West Brom goalkeeper Ben Foster, before Gareth McAuley's header put the visitors in front and substitute Romelu Lukaku sealed the victory.
The result means West Brom have beaten Liverpool home and away this season, and climb above the Reds into eighth place in the table.
