Arsenal 2-1 Aston Villa: Arsene Wenger hails win after 'rocky week'

Arsene Wenger says Arsenal's 2-1 victory over Aston Villa is "very deserved" following a "rocky" week at the club.

Santi Cazorla gave Arsenal the lead after just six minutes, but Villa punished the hosts for poor defending when Andreas Weimann equalised from 22 yards, before Cazorla scored a late winner.

Wenger admits Arsenal "were on edge and nervous" against Villa following this week's "massive disappointment" of their FA Cup exit and losing their Champions League quarter-final first-leg to Bayern Munich.
