Sunderland 1-1 Norwich: Martin O'Neill rues 'opportunity lost'

Manager Martin O'Neill sees Sunderland's 1-1 Premier League home draw against 10-man Norwich as an "opportunity lost," after the first-half dismissal of visiting goalkeeper Mark Bunn.

The Northern Irishman believes the Black Cats "should have created lots more chances" in a "disappointing" second half after Craig Gardner's penalty had cancelled out Wes Hoolahan's opener.

The win sees Sunderland edge above Southampton into 15th on goal difference but O'Neill admits the Wearsiders have a "lot of difficult fixtures" remaining.
