Paolo Di Canio takes first Sunderland training session
New Sunderland boss Paolo Di Canio takes his first training session ahead of Sunday's clash against Chelsea.
The Italian replaced Martin O'Neill as Sunderland manager on Sunday and his appointment has been surrounded by controversy about whether he holds fascist beliefs, which he has denied.
Ex-Foreign Secretary David Miliband resigned from the board because of Di Canio's "past political statements" and in his first news conference for the club, the former Swindon boss refused to answer questions about his beliefs, but has since distanced himself from any claims that he is a fascist.
