Everton boss David Moyes says his side did not create enough chances but feels they did not deserve to lose 1-0 at Sunderland.

Stephane Sessegnon scored the game's only goal just before half-time, stabbing a shot beyond Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard.

The defeat, Everton's first against Sunderland since 2001, means the Toffees stay sixth in the table with their hopes of a top-four finish all but over.
