Paul Cox: Mansfield Town's return to the League took 'immense' effort

Mansfield Town manager Paul Cox tells BBC East Midlands Today that the emotion of returning the club to the Football League as Blue Square Bet Premier champions is like nothing he had ever experienced.

The Stags beat Wrexham 1-0 in front of a crowd of more than 6,300 at Field Mill on Saturday to clinch the title and secure a place in League Two after a five-year absence.

"Credit has to go to the players, because they have been immense for this football club," he said.

"I've never been through an emotion like today."
