Andre Villas-Boas would be 'surprised' if Gareth Bale is sold

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas says he would be "surprised" if forward Gareth Bale is sold in the summer.

The Wales international has attracted admirers from all over Europe with his performances this season.

On Thursday he added the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year award to the PFA Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards he won last week.
