Sunderland 1-1 Southampton - Di Canio frustrated by 'difficulties'

Sunderland boss Paulo Di Canio admits he is frustrated by the "many difficulties" his side face as they squander a lead to draw 1-1 with Southampton.

A win would have meant Premier League safety for the Black Cats but Jason Puncheon's late leveller cancelled out Phil Bardsley's goal.

Di Canio insists he is focused entirely on getting at least a point to secure Premier League survival next Sunday, but Sunderland could be safe by then as Wigan will be all but relegated if they fail to beat Arsenal on Tuesday.
