Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez believes injuries have cost his relegation-threatened side a top-10 finish this season.

The FA Cup winners travel to Arsenal on Tuesday needing a victory to have any chance of extending their eight-year stay in the Premier League.

Wigan claimed the first major trophy in their 81-year history with Saturday's 1-0 FA Cup final victory over Manchester City at Wembley.
