Roberto Martinez is confirmed as Everton boss
Roberto Martinez has signed a four-year deal to become Everton's first foreign manager.
The 39-year-old Spaniard won the FA Cup at Wigan this season, but asked to leave the DW Stadium after failing to keep them in the Premier League.
BBC Sport reporter Ben Smith says that Martinez was "always the front runner" for the job and discusses the now vacant manager's position at Wigan Athletic, who have received over 30 applications for the role.
