Confederations Cup: Tahitian delight at penalty save
The entire stadium erupts in delight as Tahiti's debutant goalkeeper Gilbert Meriel saves Andres Scotti's penalty during his team's 8-0 Confederations Cup defeat to Uruguay.
After Nicolas Vallar's foul on Matias Aguirregaray, Meriel moved to his left to keep out Scotti's effort and then dived on the loose ball as it threatened to squirm over the line.
The 28-year-old Central Sport keeper was playing his first game for the national side and became the third goalkeeper used by Tahiti in the tournament.
