Wayne Rooney 'problem' may affect England - Jose Mourinho

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insists Wayne Rooney's future is a "problem" that only Manchester United manager David Moyes can resolve.

Mourinho said England coach Roy Hodgson may be "a bit worried" about the possibility of Rooney not being guaranteed a place in Moyes's team, with the 2014 World Cup in Brazil taking place at the end of the upcoming season.

Mourinho was speaking to the BBC prior to Chelsea confirming they have made a written offer to bring Rooney to Stamford Bridge, although the club deny offering players in exchange as part of the deal.
