Declan Devine insists Derry tie 'still alive' after 4-2 defeat

Derry City manager Declan Devine says his team still have a chance of progressing past Trabzonspor despite their 4-2 Europa League first-leg defeat in Turkey.

"If we can get an early goal next week you never know. You saw in the last five minutes. There were a few nerves flying about in their back four," said Devine.

The Derry boss said that he was disappointed about the concession of "four preventable goals" but lauds his team's character as they fought back from conceding two early goals.
