Charlotte Green admits to football results debut nerves

Former BBC Radio 4 newsreader Charlotte Green admits she will be feeling nervous when she makes her debut reading the classified football results on Saturday.

Green, who supports Tottenham Hotspur, will begin reading the classifieds on BBC Radio 5 live and the World Service on 28 September.

Green says it is a job she has always wanted, but adds that it was a surprise to be asked to take over from James Alexander Gordon.
