Alan Shearer hopeful but not confident about England World Cup qualifiers

Alan Shearer is hopeful England can win their two remaining World Cup qualifiers and seal a place at next summer's tournament in Brazil, but admits he is not confident.

The former England captain, who played at the 1998 World Cup in France, believes Roy Hodgson's side will not deserve to qualify if they cannot beat Montenegro and Poland at Wembley.

Shearer says that despite having home advantage "nothing is ever simple with England".
