NI boss Michael O'Neill says draw against Israel was deserved

Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill says his team's 1-1 World Cup qualifier draw with Israel in Tel Aviv was "the very least his side deserved".

"It was disappointing to lose a goal two minutes before half-time but the character we showed in the second half was really encouraging," said O'Neill.

"This is a team that slowly but surely is going in the right direction. The players have just got to believe in themselves and be more mentally tough in certain situations."
