Declan Devine's last interview as Derry City manager

Declan Devine strongly defended his record as Derry City boss in his last interview as manager when he spoke with BBC Radio Foyle's Eric White on Friday night.

Devine lost the Derry City job on Sunday evening as the club announced that he had left the club "by mutual consent".

"At the end of the day, I can hold my head up high in what I've done here," said Devine after his team's 6-0 victory over Limerick in their final league match of the season.

"I won a Cup last year. Hopefully, I got the club into Europe this year so I'm quite happy with the job I've done."
