Jose Mourinho critical of Mike Riley's West Brom apology
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has criticised referees' chief Mike Riley for apologising to West Bromwich Albion after a penalty was awarded against them, believing his actions set a dangerous precedent.
Mr Riley telephoned West Brom to apologise after Chelsea were awarded a controversial penalty in the two sides' 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge on 9 November.
Mourinho says he has never received a phone call apologising for a refereeing decision but, that if he had, his phone would have been "very, very busy".
