Stoke 1-1 Everton: Everton character delights Martinez

Everton boss Roberto Martinez was happy his side were able to find an equaliser after drawing 1-1 against Stoke at the Britannia Stadium.

The Potters took the lead through Oussama Assaidi's 49th minute strike before Leighton Baines stroked home a penalty in added on time.

Martinez was pleased his side came through a difficult match to claim a draw, which leaves Everton fifth in the Premier League table, on 38 points.
