Arsenal 2-0 Cardiff: Arsene Wenger rues striker shortage

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger would not be drawn on whether he would buy another striker in the January transfer window after Nicklas Bendtner was injured scoring the opening goal in their 2-0 win over Cardiff.

Theo Walcott scored a second for the Gunners to make the game safe despite a dogged defensive display by the Bluebirds but Wenger has concerns up front with Olivier Giroud also injured.

Arsenal remain top of the table after their third Premier League win in a row.
