Sir Alex Ferguson attacks football's sacking culture

Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who has been appointed as a Uefa coaching ambassador, says he does not understand the culture of sacking managers after only a short period of time.

He also backs his replacement David Moyes at Old Trafford, by saying that the club will keep up their tradition of long-term managers.

Moyes has come in for criticism after losses in the FA Cup and League Cup, while the champions trail current leaders Arsenal by 14 points in the Premier League.
