Liverpool 4-0 Everton: Brendan Rodgers hails 'outstanding' Reds

Brendan Rodgers says Liverpool were "outstanding" in their 4-0 victory over Everton in the Merseyside derby.

The Liverpool boss lauds a "brilliant win in a big game" after his side raced into a three-goal first-half lead courtesy of Steven Gerrard's header and two goals in three minutes from striker Daniel Sturridge, before Luis Suarez added a fourth after the break.

The win was Liverpool's biggest derby triumph since November 1982, and sees them narrow the gap on leaders Arsenal to just six points.
