Newcastle 1-0 Aston Villa: Loic Remy finish was special - Alan Pardew

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew says Loic Remy's composure allowed him to score a late goal to seal a 1-0 win over Aston Villa.

With the match goalless in the 92nd minute, Remy found a way through the Villa defence to end a run of four successive home league defeats for the Magpies.

Remy's effort was Newcastle's first league goal at home in five games and provided Pardew's side with their first win at St James' Park since Boxing Day.
