West Ham 0-2 Man Utd: Sam Allardyce on 'deserved' defeat

Sam Allardyce says Wayne Rooney's wonder goal "knocked the stuffing" out of West Ham after they lost 2-0 to Manchester United.

The West Ham manager refuses to blame goalkeeper Adrian for conceding a "once in a lifetime" goal, hailing an "unbelievable bit of skill" in Rooney's exquisite lob from just inside the Hammers' half.

Allardyce admits his side were "deservedly" beaten and they now lie 14th in the table having lost three Premier League games in a row.
