Andre Marriner right to ignore Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - Poll

Former referee Graham Poll says Andre Marriner was right to ignore Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's admission that he, rather than Kieran Gibbs, should be sent off against Chelsea on Saturday.

Marriner mistakenly dismissed Gibbs instead of Oxlade-Chamberlain after a goalline handball in Chelsea's 6-0 win.

Poll, who made a mistake at the 2006 World Cup when he gave one player three yellow cards, wants video technology to restore the "credibility" of football.
