Liverpool 4-0 Tottenham: We're a long way behind rivals - Sherwood

Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood says his side are a "long way" behind their Champions League rivals after a humiliating 4-0 defeat by Liverpool.

Sherwood's side conceded an own goal from defender Younes Kaboul after just two minutes and it did not get better from there as Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho and Jordan Henderson all found the net.

Spurs have only taken one point from eight league games against the top four this season and are eight points away from the final UEFA Champions League qualification spot.
