Manchester United manager David Moyes is "happy with the performance" after his side's 1-1 home draw in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich.

The Scot credits the players' "great effort, great commitment" but feels United "could have taken one of the other chances they had" against the defending champions.

United captain Nemanja Vidic headed the hosts in front, before Bastian Schweinsteiger's smart finish gave Bayern an away goal ahead of next Wednesday's second leg.
