Baxter refutes Jeffrey 'lie down' claim

Crusaders manager Stephen Baxter refutes claims that his team would 'lie down' in their final game of the season against Premiership leaders Cliftonville.

Linfield beat the Crues 3-2 on Saturday to stay a point behind champions Cliftonville with just three games to go.

Crusaders had two men sent off in the stormy match at Seaview and afterwards Linfield manager David Jeffrey claimed some Crues players had been heard saying they 'wouldn't turn up' against his side's title rivals.
