Manager Paul Lambert describes the point gained in Aston Villa's 1-1 home Premier League draw with Southampton as "massive".

The Scot believes that, against a "very good side", the Villains were "excellent" in the second-half of their goalless draw.

The draw ends a run of four consecutive for Villa and leaves them five points above the relegation zone.
