Newcastle 1-2 Swansea: Alan Pardew could have 'stopped' goal
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew says he could have "stopped" the winning goal in his side's 2-1 defeat to Swansea if he was not serving a touchline ban.
The Magpies took the lead through Shola Ameobi, but Wilfried Bony levelled before the break. Bony then secured all three points for the Swans after converting a stoppage time penalty.
Newcastle's fifth consecutive defeat increases the pressure on Pardew who says his team were "punished" for too many errors.
