Danny Mills: Premier League B teams vital for England future
Danny Mills backs plans for proposed Premier League 'B' teams to play in a newly-formed League Three and believes the England team will benefit as a result.
FA commission panel member Mills says a "long-term vision" is crucial for English football to stop the national side being made up of Championship players.
The creation of a new tier within the Football League to accommodate B teams is at the heart of the Football Association commission's four-point plan to boost English football.
The review also calls for a ban on non-EU players outside of the top flight and a reduction in non-home-grown players in Premier League squads, as well as wanting clubs to develop "strategic loan partnerships".
