World Cup 2014: Lionel Messi the best since Maradona - Gary Lineker

Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker says he has not seen anyone like Lionel Messi since Diego Maradona.

Argentina forward Messi took his 2014 World Cup goal tally to four - making him the joint-top scorer with Brazil's Neymar - with two against Nigeria, including a curling free-kick.

Former England striker Lineker described Maradona, a World Cup winner with Argentina in 1986, as "the best of my generation".
