World Cup 2014: Angel Di Maria 'worst player on the pitch'

Argentina's extra-time winner against Switzerland was scored by "the worst player on the pitch" in Angel Di Maria, according to BBC Sport's pundits.

Alan Hansen, Robbie Savage and Alan Shearer all criticise the Real Madrid man for giving the ball away 51 times and squandering several great crossing opportunities.

However they acknowledge his late goal in extra time, which sent his side through to the quarter-finals, is "all that people will remember".
