Angel Di Maria: Manchester United confirm British record signing

BBC Sport's Dan Roan reports on Manchester United's capture of Angel Di Maria from Real Madrid for a British record transfer fee of £59.7m.

The Argentine winger signed a five-year deal with United after passing a medical in Manchester on Tuesday.

BBC Sport pundit Alan Shearer, himself a British transfer record signing in 1996, says United have paid "over the odds" but that Di Maria is an "excellent player".
