Switzerland 0-2 England: Danny Welbeck praises team's tactics

Striker Danny Welbeck believes the way England prepared for their Euro 2016 match away to Switzerland "paid off", after he scored both goals in a 2-0 win for Roy Hodgson's team.

Welbeck gave England the lead just before the hour mark by converting Raheem Sterling's cross and sealed victory in stoppage time after being played in by substitute Rickie Lambert.

The goals were Welbeck's first in an England shirt for a year, ending a run of nine international appearances in which the Arsenal forward has failed to score.
