Liverpool 0-1 Aston Villa: Rodgers frustrated at sluggish Reds

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says his side were slow to get started and lacked quality up front as they lose 1-0 at home against to Aston Villa.

Gabriel Agbonlahor scrambled Villa into a ninth-minute lead, and despite the Reds dominating the second half they rarely threatened in front of goal.

The game produced just two shots on target, with the second effort coming in the 11th minute.
