WSL: Fara Williams scores from kick off for Liverpool v Birmingham

Fara Williams scores a controversial opportunistic goal from the halfway line during Liverpool's 2-1 win over Birmingham.

Her long-range strike comes straight from the re-start after Birmingham had scored through Hannah Keryakoplis.

The goal stands despite referee Stuart Richardson having not blown his whistle to restart the game - he later apologised to Birmingham.

Williams is the most capped England footballer of all time and recently told BBC Radio 5 live that she was homeless for the first six years of her career.
