Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert says his side got what they deserved after a 3-0 loss away to Everton.

Phil Jagielka's first-half goal opened the scoring with Romelu Lukaku on-target with a low shot just after the break before Seamus Coleman grabbed Everton's third fourteen minutes from time.

Villa have now lost four successive Premier League matches without scoring a single goal.
