Tony Pulis 'risked reputation' to join Crystal Palace

Former Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis says he risked his reputation when he agreed to take over at Selhurst Park as the club were bottom of the league and had never survived for more than a season in the Premier League.

Pulis retained his record of having never been relegated as a manager, and won the manager of the year award after finishing 11th, but left Palace 48 hours before the start of the season.
