Bannsiders earn derby bragging rights

Coleraine avenge their defeat at the hands of Ballymena United earlier in the season by beating their derby rivals 2-0 at the Showgrounds.

The Bannsiders took the lead when goalkeeper Dwayne Nelson failed to hold onto Neil McCafferty's fourth-minute free-kick and Ruairi Harkin added the second with a fine 25-yards effort seven minutes later.

The result sees Oran Kearney's side leapfrog Glentoran into sixth place in the Premiership table, while Glenn Ferguson's team remain eighth.
