AFOTY: Enyeama feels that he 'deserves' nomination

Nigeria's first-choice goalkeeper for over ten years, Vincent Enyeama enjoyed a sparkling season with French club Lille in the 2013/14 season. He kept 11 consecutive clean sheets, and was just 114 minutes short of creating a new record for not conceding a goal in Ligue 1.

At the World Cup in Brazil, Enyeama kept out Iran and Bosnia-Herzegovina in the Super Eagles' first two group matches, but their campaign came to an end in the last 16 as France beat Nigeria 2-0. On his nomination, Enyeama says "I think I deserve it, I had a great year, I had a great World Cup".
