Tranmere v Walsall: Saddlers boss Dean Smith prepared for JPT clash

Walsall manager Dean Smith has prepared for every eventuality ahead of his side's Johnstone's Paint Trophy northern area semi-final against Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park on Tuesday.

"We've been practising penalties, as we always do before," Smith told BBC WM. "We try to make it as competitive as possible - little wagers like having to clean each other's boots and getting the food in after training."

The Saddlers, now just two rounds from reaching Wembley for the first time, are one of only four current Football League clubs never to have played there.
