Walsall JPT win: Paul Downing proud to hit winning penalty
Walsall centre-half Paul Downing tells BBC WM's Rob Gurney that practising spot-kicks was the key to his Johnstone's Paint Trophy penalty shootout winner at Tranmere.
"I knew where I was going to put it as I'd practised penalties in training the day before, so I stuck to it," he said.
"This is a massive opportunity for us now to get into the history books. These are exciting times for the club. We fancy ourselves against anyone over two legs."
Walsall have never made it to Wembley and are one of only four current Football League clubs not to have played at the famous stadium since it first opened in 1923.
