Chelsea 1-1 Liverpool: Steven Gerrard on Liverpool return

Captain Steven Gerrard admits that he "would love" to return to Liverpool at some point after playing his last game at Stamford Bridge in a 1-1 draw with champions Chelsea.

The former England captain says it was a "nice touch" to be applauded off by the Chelsea fans but that they have "murdered me for years".

Gerrard is "walking away with my head high" and is "proud of what I have achieved" in his 27-year association with the Merseyside club.
