Women's World Cup: England can create iconic memories - Bassett

Defender Laura Bassett tells BBC East Midlands Today that England are ready to create iconic World Cup moments when the tournament starts in Canada next month.

Bassett, 31, is one of four Notts County Ladies players in Mark Sampson's squad.

Goalkeeper Carly Telford, 27, talks to reporter Angela Rafferty about wanting to bring pride to England, while 26-year-old striker Ellen White says the World Cup was a major incentive during her recovery from a serious knee injury.

Defender Alex Greenwood, who is the youngest member of the squad at 21, discusses the thrill of preparing for her first major tournament with the senior national team.

England take on host nation Canada on 30 May (00:00 BST kick-off) in their final friendly match before the World Cup.
