Foyle Cup provides showcase for young footballers

Almost 280 teams across a range of age groups are competing at this year's Foyle Cup youth football tournament, which will take in 850 games at a dozen venues across the north west.

The event started out as an eight-team youth tournament in 1992.

BBC Newsline's Kieron Tourish spoke to Foyle Cup organiser Michael Hutton and former Republic of Ireland international Kevin Kilbane as the competition got underway.
