Archive: Sir Bobby Robson's Sports Personality speech

Six years on from the death of Sir Bobby Robson,, external watch his emotional speech as he receives the Lifetime Achievement award at the Sports Personality of the Year ceremony in 2007.

The former England football manager died from cancer on 31 July 2009.

Sir Bobby played 20 times for the national side in the 1950s and '60s, before going on to a successful managerial career with such clubs as Ipswich Town, Barcelona and Newcastle United, as well as guiding England to the 1990 World Cup semi-final.
