Leicester 4-2 Sunderland: Ranieri salutes 'outstanding' Foxes

New Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri says his team were "outstanding" during their 4-2 win over Sunderland at the King Power Stadium.

Jamie Vardy's header and a brace from Riyad Mahrez put the hosts 3-0 up in the first 30 minutes. Jermain Defoe gave the Black Cats hope but, after Marc Albrighton had struck for the Foxes, Steven Fletcher's late header was mere consolation for the visitors.

Ranieri has been absent from the Premier League for 11 years - and this is his ninth job since he was sacked by Roman Abramovich at Chelsea.
